Learning on Campus

The main campus is located in the center of Treuchtlingen on top of a hill looking over the city. The beautiful “park-like” grounds provide approximately 4,700 square meters of usable space.

The facilities provide excellent conditions for teaching and learning, housing and accommodation, as well as events and entertainment. Additional teaching and learning facilities are provided at other outdoor centers for land-based, water-based and air-based activities.

Teaching and learning facilities include large modern seminar rooms and additional areas appropriate for group-work and student counseling. Office space is also available for administration and student services.

Housing and accommodation facilities include a large student residence (60 single rooms) as well as separate apartments for instructors and staff. A spacious dining hall and a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with a sunny terrace and large open spaces complete the picture. Here, students in Hotel Management can gain practical experience working on campus in various management, administration and service functions.

Event and entertainment facilities include a modern media area combining a large foyer and studio hall complete with stage and full lighting and sound systems. These provide many interesting practice opportunities for students studying Music & Culture Management, Media Management or Event Management.

In addition, extensive recreational facilities such as bowling, darts, table-tennis, billiards and more are available on campus. Off campus, the City of Treuchtlingen also offers its wide array of sport and recreation facilities to UAM students.
